Welcome to the Minnesota Daily, an independent, student-produced newspaper on the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota. The paper is published Monday thru Friday during the fall and spring, with one Finals Edition at the end of every semester. The newsroom does their own version of a Final Edition and we, the Online Department, put our own twist on it. We use all the articles they wrote but create a unique template usually mimicking a well known cultural fad in the form of parody. Past editions have included a Windows XP and Ipod parody, as well as "The Internet as a Series of Tubes".

We, The Daily Online Department decided to mimic facebook.com for finals edition this year. It is one of the most popular websites in the world, so we thought it deserved a tease.

Obviously most of display idea and even some images were taken directly from facebook.com. We only deserve credit for rebuilding. We would like to thank www.facebook.com
